The Files page

Files (under Resources in the Console menu) is meant to list files your organization has stored for use with the API. Today the page shows the storage limits and an empty table; uploading and managing files from this page is not available yet.

What the page shows

  • A note with the limits: up to 1,000 files per organization, each file up to 100 MB, and no more than 10 GB in total.
  • A File Search box and a counter of files uploaded and space used.
  • A table with the columns File ID, Filename, File Size, Purpose, Status and Created At.

At the moment the table is always empty and the counter reads zero, even if you have used files elsewhere in Syntic. There is no upload button on this page.

The Files API for uploading a document once and reusing it across requests is described in the developer docs as a preview: see Files API. Check that page for its current status before you build on it.

What to do instead today

  • Send short documents and images inline in your request, as described in the developer docs.
  • If you need large-file workflows for a project, write to support@syntic.ai and describe what you’re building.
