SynticSyntic FAQ

Syntic FAQ

Quick answers about your Syntic account. Each answer links to the article with the full details.

Do I need a password?

No. Syntic accounts have no password. You get in with Continue with Google or with a one-time code sent to your email. Company single sign-on is coming soon. See Sign-in options.

Is one account enough for the web app, the desktop app, Syntic Code and the Console?

Yes. All of them use the same Syntic account, so your plan, organizations and usage are shared. See Where you can use Syntic.

What is free and what needs a paid plan?

The Free plan covers chat in the browser (and in the desktop app once downloads open). Syntic Code, the API and buying API credit need a paid plan. You can keep one organization on the Free plan. See The Free plan and Compare plans.

What is the difference between my personal workspace and an organization?

Your personal workspace is created for you at sign-up. An organization is a shared space with its own members, plan, usage and billing. See Personal workspace vs organization.

Can I change the email address on my account?

Not from Settings. The email address is your account’s identity. See Can I change my email address? for the options you do have.

How do I make my account safer?

Turn on two-step verification and save your recovery codes, and review your active sessions from time to time. See Two-step verification and Account security.

How do I delete my account or download my data?

Both are in Settings. Deleted accounts can be brought back within 30 days. See Delete your account and Export your data.

Something is broken. What should I check first?

Look at status.syntic.ai for an ongoing incident, then use Troubleshoot your account. If you still need help, email support@syntic.ai from the address on your account.
