Safeguards FAQ
Short answers about Syntic’s safety rules and enforcement.
Where is Syntic’s usage policy?
The rules are part of the Consumer Terms, Business Terms and API Terms on syntic.ai. Usage policy summarizes them in one place.
Why did Syntic refuse my request?
Automated safeguards can decline requests that look harmful. If you think the refusal was wrong, use the thumbs-down button and choose Refused when it shouldn’t have. See Report harmful content or abuse.
Does anyone read my conversations?
Conversations can be flagged for safety review, and flagged content may be reviewed. Syntic’s terms say an automated flag alone never leads to a report to law enforcement. See How Syntic keeps conversations safe.
What happens if I break the rules?
Syntic can restrict, suspend or close the account, with notice where practicable. See Account enforcement and appeals.
How do I appeal a disabled account?
Email support@syntic.ai from the account’s email address and explain why it should be restored.
How old do I have to be?
18, or older where local law requires it. See Age requirements.
I found a jailbreak. Where do I report it?
Send model safety issues to support@syntic.ai with steps to reproduce. Security vulnerabilities go to security@syntic.ai.
