Release notes

Changes to your Syntic account, billing, the Syntic Console and the help center that you may notice or need to act on, newest first. Developer-level detail (new error codes, headers and API behaviour) is in the API release notes, and changes to the command-line tool are in the Syntic Code release notes.

October 13, 2026

• Help center: the Syntic Help Center opens at support.syntic.ai, with step-by-step articles on getting started, account and billing, the Console and API, the apps, privacy and security and troubleshooting.

October 12, 2026

• Developer docs: the developer documentation for the Syntic API and Console is published at platform.syntic.ai/docs.
• Models: Requests for a model your plan does not include are now refused with 403 model_not_in_plan, and a model name that is not served gets 404 model_not_found. See Model not found or not in your plan.

October 4, 2026

• API keys: every request is now checked against the state of the account and organization behind the key. If your account is disabled, or your organization is suspended or closed, requests made with its keys are refused. See Troubleshooting.

• Models: the plan level each model needs now applies to API requests as well as to chat. See Compare plans.
• Billing: auto-reload only charges a payment method saved for the organization that owns the credit balance.

• API keys: a key can be limited to a list of website origins. Requests from any other origin are refused. See Create an API key.
• Billing: one monthly cap now limits the total of all automatic card charges for an organization, including credit auto-reload. A cap of zero stops automatic charges.

• Spend limits: owners can set monthly credit spend limits for the whole organization, for a group or for one member. Someone who reaches their limit sees an out-of-credit message until the limit is raised or the month resets. See Fix “out of credits” and limit messages.
