Switch between organizations
Use the workspace row near the top of the sidebar to move between your organizations and their projects. You can also press ⌘O (Mac) or Ctrl+O (Windows) to open it from anywhere, as long as you are not typing in a text box.
Open the switcher
Click the row that shows your current organization and project, for example Acme / Website relaunch. A panel opens beside the sidebar with two columns: organizations on the left and the selected organization’s projects on the right.
Pick an organization
Click an organization in the left column, or type in Find organization… to filter a long list. The switch happens straight away and the panel stays open so you can choose a project.
Pick a project (optional)
Click a project in the right column, or use Find project…. The panel closes.
What happens when you switch
- The chat list in the sidebar reloads with the new organization’s chats and projects.
- If you were inside a chat or project from the old organization, Syntic takes you back to a new chat, because that conversation belongs to the other organization.
- Plan limits, credits and billing now refer to the newly selected organization.
More options in the switcher
| Item | What it does |

Choose which organization opens by default
On Your Organizations, open an organization’s menu (the three dots) and choose Set as default. That organization is selected automatically when you sign in. See Set a default organization.
A link that contains ?org= followed by an organization name switches you to that organization when you open it, provided you are a member.
