What is the Syntic Console?

The Syntic Console at platform.syntic.ai is the web dashboard for developers who call the Syntic API. It is where you create API keys, watch token usage against your plan, buy API credit, and download usage records for your organization.

Who it is for

You need the Console when you build an app, script or service of your own on top of Syntic models. If you only chat with Syntic in the browser or use Syntic Code with a normal sign-in, you can manage everything from the main Syntic app instead, and you may never need to open the Console.

The Console uses the same Syntic account as the rest of Syntic. There is no separate developer sign-up.

What you can do in it

The left-hand menu is split into three groups:

GroupPagesWhat they are for
OrganizationGeneral, Projects, API Keys, Usage LimitsYour organization’s ID, project list, keys and plan usage
ResourcesFilesStorage limits for files used with the API
BillingOverview, Recharge, Recharge Details, Billing Details, Voucher, Export RecordsCredit balance, top-ups, spend limits and usage history

Along the top bar you will also find links to Contact Sales, Blog, Docs and Playground, plus your account menu (the round button with your initial) where Settings, Security (2FA) and Sign out live.

Everything belongs to an organization

Keys, usage and credit are kept per organization, not per person. The breadcrumb at the top of every page shows which organization (and, optionally, which project) you are looking at. Before you create a key or buy credit, check that the right organization is selected; see Switch organizations and projects.

Several pages need an organization to be selected and show a prompt such as “Select an organization first” when you are on Personal.

How the Console relates to the API docs

The Console is where you manage your account. The developer documentation at platform.syntic.ai/docs explains how to write code against the API: endpoints, request fields and error formats. This help center covers the Console screens and the common problems people run into.
