Privacy and legalExport your data

Export your data

You can ask for a copy of your Syntic account and chats at any time. Syntic prepares a ZIP file and emails you a download link that works for 24 hours.

Request an export

Open Data Controls

In the Syntic app, open Settings → Data Controls and find Export data.

Choose Export

The Export data dialog opens.

Pick a date range

Under Conversations from, pick All, 30 days, 90 days, or Custom with your own From and To dates.

Choose organizations (if offered)

If you own or administer two or more organizations, Include organizations lets you choose which ones to include. Pick at least one.

Send the request

Confirm. The button changes to Requested.

What you get

An email titled “Syntic AI - Your data export is ready” with a download link. The ZIP contains:

PartContents
Account profileYour profile and organization memberships
ConversationsYour chats in the date range, per organization
ProjectsYour projects, per organization
A read-me fileWhat each file is

The data is in JSON, a plain-text format most tools can read. Uploaded files, agents and memories are not included.

Downloading

  • Open the link while signed in to the same Syntic account that asked for the export.
  • The link works for 24 hours. After that it stops working; request a new export if you need one.
  • If you’re removed from an organization before downloading, an export that includes it can no longer be downloaded.

How often

You can request a new export one hour after the last one. If you ask too soon, you’ll see when you can try again, or “You already requested an export recently — check your email.” The button in Settings may stay on Requested for longer than that.

If you see “Your export is ready, but we couldn’t email the download link. Please contact support.”, write to support@syntic.ai.

Organization data

Organization admins can also export organization data from the organization’s compliance settings, using Export All Data.

API usage records

Usage and request logs for the API are exported separately in the Console. See The Export Records page.
