Get started with Connectors
Right now the connector you can use is GitHub, which lets you pull files from your repositories into a chat. Slack and Microsoft 365 appear in Settings as Coming soon, and the full connector directory shown on syntic.ai isn’t open in the app yet.
What you can connect today
| App | Status | Where |
|---|---|---|
| GitHub | Available | Settings → Integrations, or Add from GitHub in the chat + menu |
| Slack | Coming soon | Settings → Integrations (select Notify me to be emailed when it opens) |
| Microsoft 365 | Coming soon | Settings → Integrations (Notify me) |
| Connector directory, including MCP connectors | Coming soon | Not in the app yet |
Connect GitHub from Settings
Open Integrations
Open Settings and, under Workspace, select Integrations.
Select Connect
On the GitHub row, select Connect. GitHub opens and asks you to approve access.
Approve and return
Approve on GitHub. Syntic shows Completing connection… and then Connected! Redirecting…, and takes you back to Settings. The GitHub row now shows the date you connected and a Disconnect button.
Connect GitHub from a chat
In a chat, open the + menu and choose Add from GitHub. If you haven’t connected yet, the dialog shows Connect GitHub, which opens GitHub in a pop-up. After you approve, pick a repository, tick the files you want, and they are attached to your message.
In chats with an AI Staff member, Add from GitHub only appears for technical roles. In a normal chat it is always there.
Syntic Code
Syntic Code, the command-line coding agent, connects to outside tools through MCP servers that you add on your own computer. That works today and is separate from the app’s connectors. See MCP servers.
