Sign out everywhere
Sign out everywhere ends every sign-in on your account at once: every browser (this one included) and every Syntic Code and Syntic Desktop sign-in. Use it when you’ve lost a device or think someone else has access.
In the Syntic app
Open Security settings
Go to Settings → Security and find the Sign out everywhere card.
Start
Choose the button on the card. The Sign out everywhere? dialog opens.
Decide about API keys
Tick Also revoke my API keys if your keys may also be exposed. Integrations using them will stop working until you create new keys.
Confirm
Confirm. You’ll see “Signed out everywhere.” and need to sign in again.
If you use two-step verification but this session skipped the code step, Syntic stops and shows Enter your two-step verification code first, then try again. Sign in again with your code, then retry.
If you see “Most sign-ins were ended, but one step failed. Try again to finish.”, run it again.
In the Syntic Console
In the Console, open Settings from your account menu and choose Sign out everywhere on the Account tab, or Sign out of all sessions on the Security tab. These sign your account out of every browser. They don’t offer to revoke API keys or end Syntic Code sign-ins; use the Syntic app for that.
After signing out everywhere
- Sign back in on your own device.
- Turn on two-step verification if it’s off.
- Check your email account’s security, since email is how you sign in.
- If you didn’t revoke API keys, check their Last used times on the API Keys page and revoke any you don’t recognise.
- Run
syntic loginagain in any terminal you use with Syntic Code.
