Refunds
Cancelling a plan normally stops the next renewal and doesn’t refund the current period: you keep access until it ends. The exception is the 14-day right of withdrawal for customers in the EU, the EEA and the UK, which you can use yourself from Settings → Billing.
Customers in the EU, EEA or UK: 14-day cancellation right
If you bought a plan within the last 14 days, and your billing country is in the European Union, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway or the United Kingdom, Settings → Billing shows a 14-day cancellation right panel with the deadline. It explains that you can cancel and get a refund for the part you haven’t used, and that this right comes from EU and UK consumer law and is separate from cancelling at the end of the period.
Open Settings → Billing
Select the organization whose plan you bought.
Click Cancel and request a refund
Read the confirmation and confirm.
Wait for the refund
The plan is cancelled straight away, and Syntic shows Your plan has been cancelled with the amount on its way back to your original payment method.
Good to know:
- The 14 days run from your first purchase. They don’t start again when the plan renews.
- The refund is your payment minus a proportionate amount for the time you have already used. The exact amount is worked out from what you actually paid and is shown after you confirm.
- If the panel isn’t there, you are outside the window or outside these countries.
Everyone else
Outside the EU, EEA and UK, plans aren’t refunded when cancelled. Cancel before the renewal date to avoid the next charge. See Cancel your plan.
Credits and gifts
- Purchased image & video credits never expire.
- A gift that was refunded shows Refunded in Your gifts.
