Sign-in options
Syntic is passwordless. You sign in with Continue with Google or with a one-time code sent to your email. Both use the same form at app.syntic.ai/login.
The ways to sign in
| Method | How it works | Good to know |
|---|---|---|
| Click Continue with Google and choose your Google account in the pop-up window | If pop-ups are blocked, Syntic opens Google in the same tab instead | |
| Email code | Type your email, click Continue with email, then enter the code you receive and click Verify Email Address | You can ask for a new code every 30 seconds |
| Company single sign-on (SSO) | Coming soon | Not available yet. See Single sign-on (SSO) |
There is no password field and no “remember my password” step, because there is no password.
Second step for protected accounts
If you have turned on two-step verification, Syntic asks for your second factor right after the first step. Organizations can also require it for every member. See Two-step verification.
Signing in on the desktop app and Syntic Code
The desktop app and Syntic Code open the same web sign-in page in your browser. Your email may be filled in already, and if you chose Google in the app, Google sign-in starts on its own.
If sign-in fails
| Message | What it means |
|---|---|
| Please enter a valid email | The address is not in a valid format |
| Unable to send a code right now. Please try again. | The code could not be sent. Wait a moment and try again |
| That code is invalid or expired. Please try again. | The code was mistyped or is no longer valid. Use Try sending again for a fresh one |
| Could not start Google sign-in. Please try again. | The Google window could not be opened. Allow pop-ups for the site or try again |
If your account has been disabled, Syntic shows a notice instead of signing you in. Contact support@syntic.ai from the address on the account.
