Troubleshoot the Syntic API
Every API error has an HTTP status and an error.code. Find the status you got below. If many requests fail at once, check status.syntic.ai first.
By status code
| Status | Article |
|---|---|
401 | API key errors: missing, mistyped, revoked or expired keys |
402 | Fix a 402 error: plan window full, no credit, or a spend limit reached |
403 | Access denied: public key rejected, origin not allowed, plan required |
404, or a model error with 400 or 403 | Model not found or not in your plan |
408, 504 or long waits | Requests time out |
400 or 413 about size | Request too large or too long |
429 | Too many requests |
500, 502, 503 | Server errors and busy models |

For a summary of every code and whether to retry, see Common API error codes.
