Credit spend limit

The monthly spend limit caps how much usage credit the whole organization can spend in a calendar month. New organizations start with a $20 limit. Owners can raise it, lower it or remove it in Settings → Billing → Usage credits.

Open the limit

With usage credits on, click Adjust limit next to the current limit.

Enter a new amount

Type the amount in Monthly spend limit, then confirm with Set spend limit. To remove the cap instead, choose Set to unlimited.

The new limit applies immediately.

What counts toward it

Only usage paid from credits counts. Usage covered by your plan allowance never counts, and your plan is never blocked by this limit.

The usage credits section shows how much has been spent this month, the percentage of the limit used, and the date the count resets: the first day of next month (UTC).

When the limit is reached

Requests that would need credits are refused until the next month or until an owner raises the limit. In chat the message is You’ve reached your monthly usage-credit spend limit. Raise it in Billing to keep going. Requests your plan can still cover keep working.
