The welcome steps after sign-up
Right after you verify your email for the first time, Syntic shows a few short setup screens. They take about a minute. A progress bar at the top counts the steps left, and the back arrow lets you change an earlier answer. If you refresh or close the window part-way, your answers are kept and you continue where you stopped.
Meet Amara
The first screen says Hi, I’m Amara. and lists what Syntic offers. Click Get started.
Accept the terms
On Let’s create your account, tick the box to agree to Syntic’s Consumer Terms, Business Terms and Privacy Policy, and to confirm you are at least 18. Then click Create account. The links open each document in a new tab.
Read how Syntic works
Before your first chat explains three points: Syntic shows no ads, automated safeguards protect conversations from harmful or deceptive content, and Syntic is self-funded and independent. Click Continue.
This step also turns on the setting that lets Syntic use your conversations to improve its models. It starts switched on; switch it off later in Settings → Data Controls if you prefer. See Privacy and legal.
Tell Amara what to call you
Type a first name or nickname. It doesn’t have to be your real name; it is how Amara, and later your AI Staff, will address you. Click + Add your full name (optional) if you want a full name on your profile and on billing documents.
Describe your work
Pick the option closest to you under What best describes you? (for example Small business owner or Engineer / developer) and choose your industry. Both are required to continue. They help Syntic suggest sensible defaults.
Pick the products you want
Under Which parts of Syntic do you want to use? select one or more. This only changes what you see first; you keep access to everything your plan includes. Click Let’s go.
Get the desktop app, or skip
The last screen offers the desktop app. Download for your system opens syntic.ai/download, where desktop downloads are coming soon. Click Skip for now to go straight to the app.
After the welcome steps
You arrive at Choose your plan. Pick a plan, or click Continue with the Free plan at the top right. If you came to Syntic from a link to a specific purchase, such as a team checkout, you are taken there instead.
Everything you entered here can be changed later in Settings → Account. See Edit your profile.
