Delete your account
Delete your account from Settings → Account → Account actions → Delete account. Your account is closed straight away: subscriptions you own are cancelled, you’re signed out everywhere and the account can no longer be used. For 30 days you can change your mind and reactivate it.
Before you start
- Download a copy first. See Export your data.
- Hand over shared workspaces. If you own a workspace that other people still use, transfer ownership or remove the other members first.
- Sign in fresh. You must have signed in within the last 15 minutes, and completed two-step verification if you use it.
- Replace API keys your services depend on; they belong to your account.
Delete it
Open Account settings
In the Syntic app, open Settings → Account and scroll to Account actions.
Choose Delete account
The dialog lists what deletion does.
Type your email
Type the email address shown, exactly.
Type DELETE
Then type DELETE in the second box.
Confirm
Choose Delete account.
What happens
As soon as you confirm:
- subscriptions for workspaces you own are cancelled;
- you’re signed out of every browser, Syntic Code and Syntic Desktop;
- the account can’t be used: signing in shows Account unavailable, and API keys you created are refused with
403 account_disabled; - your consent to use your data for model training is withdrawn.
You also get an email titled “Your Syntic AI account is scheduled for deletion”.
Workspaces that still have other active members keep their own subscription.
When your data is removed
Your data is kept, unused, during the 30-day recovery window so that you can reactivate. Permanent removal of the stored data happens in a later step that is not yet automatic at the end of that window. If you want your stored data erased, email privacy@syntic.ai from the account’s address after deleting and ask for erasure. See Privacy requests.
Some records are kept even after erasure: invoices and billing records for as long as tax and accounting law requires, and anything we must keep for legal reasons. Data already used to improve models with your permission can’t be extracted from them.
Changed your mind?
Sign in within 30 days. You’ll see Account unavailable with Deleted within the last 30 days? Choose Reactivate my account to restore your profile, conversations and workspace. See Deleted or disabled account.

You can try deleting at most 3 times an hour.
